Three held over thatched pub fire
Poplar Farm Inn
The fire was the second at the pub in three weeks
More than 100 firefighters tackled a blaze that destroyed a thatched pub just three weeks after an earlier fire.

The Poplar Farm Inn in Abbotts Ann, Andover, Hampshire, will have to be demolished after 70% of it was destroyed in Thursday morning's fire.

Police arrested three men and the fire - in which no-one was injured - is being treated as suspicious.

Crews were also called out to tackle a blaze at the 18th Century pub in Old Salisbury Road at the beginning of May.

The latest fire saw the A343 closed throughout the morning whilst fire crews continued to damp down the building.

Crews spent more than 10 hours at the scene of the fire that broke out just after 0100 BST.
