Warning over chemical unit fire
A large fire has broken out in a building used to store chemicals on an industrial estate.

About 45 firefighters tackled the blaze in a two-storey building on the Brook Trading Estate off North Lane in Aldershot in Hampshire.

A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the building contains chemicals but crews had prevented the flames from spreading to other units.

The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.

A large plume of smoke could be seen above the estate and police urged residents and motorists to avoid the area.

Several roads in the area were closed.
