Armed raiders rob service station

Two men escaped with a large amount of cash after holding up a service station late on Sunday night.

The pair burst into the Little Chef at Picket Post, on the A31 near Ringwood in Hampshire, and threatened staff with guns, police said.

They filled bags with a significant amount of cash from the tills and escaped along the A31.

Police said a search was launched but the two men were not found. They are appealing for witnesses.
