Masked robber trio steal £100,000

A gang of masked robbers escaped with more than £100,000 after they jumped a security guard filling up a cash machine in a building society.

The gang attacked the guard at the Nationwide in Leigh Park, Havant, Hampshire, on Friday evening, before escaping in a vehicle parked outside.

The getaway car, a grey Lexus 4x4, was found abandoned in a nearby car park.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the robbery or the thieves' getaway to contact them.
