The driver of the black Rover car was treated for shock
A group of pedestrians have been injured on a city street after a car mounted a pavement and hit them.

Four people were hurt when a black Rover crashed into them on East Street, Southampton on Wednesday morning.

An elderly woman who suffered head and leg injuries is now being treated at Southampton General Hospital. The injuries are not thought serious.

The Rover driver was treated for shock. He was taken to hospital with three walking-wounded. The road is now open.
