World War II bombs discovered
A number of World War II bombs discovered on a building site
A police cordon has now been lifted following the discovery of at least four unexploded World War I and II bombs on a construction site.

A contractor for Orchard Homes, which owns the site, reported the discovery at Regents Park Road, Southampton, Hampshire on Wednesday at 1215 BST.

Bomb disposal experts from Wiltshire have examined the shells, which "do not pose a danger to the public".

It is thought the area where they were dug up may have been munitions dump.
