Linda Richardson (centre) has been teaching staff vocal workouts

Staff at a call centre are getting voice training from one of the UK's leading opera singers to improve their vocal skills and customer service.
British Gas managers hope the training will improve the clarity of their Southampton-based workers' voices.
Soprano Linda Richardson of the English National Opera (ENO) has taught them tricks of the trade including breathing exercises and vocal workouts.
British Gas says the trial project may now be rolled out across the country.
'Keep in tune'
"The training addressed issues such as the effect that your posture has on the tone and clarity of your voice," said Wendy Sawyer of British Gas.
"Our customers should benefit from this. If we are speaking clearly then it is less likely our customers will have to ask us to repeat things over the phone to them."
The staff were also taught lighthearted operatic phrases to practice to warm up their vocal cords.
After a triumphant performance of Ride of the Valkyries at the Glastonbury festival, Linda Richardson is soon to appear as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with the ENO.
"It's not just singers who need to learn how to use their voice effectively," she said.
"And I hope the staff have learnt some trade secrets today to keep them in tune with their customers."
