Small businesses in part of Gloucestershire can apply for grants of up to £500 to help them with marketing and communication opportunities. Tewkesbury Borough Council said the scheme would help firms in two areas identified as being important in the current economic climate. A spokesman said the cash can be used for websites, signage or advertising. The council cash is topped up with a grant from Corus subsidiary UK Steel Enterprise. To be eligible to apply the business must have 10 employees or less and be located within Tewkesbury Borough or relocating into the borough.
