Murder arrest after body found

A 41-year-old man has been arrested in Cheltenham after a man's body was found at a house in the town.

The 28-year-old man was found dead at at a property on Painswick Road at just after 1700 GMT on Wednesday. The arrest took place at the scene.

The next of kin of the dead man and the coroner have been informed.

Gloucestershire Police have asked for anyone with information, or who was in the area at the time of the incident, to contact them.
