Two men have appeared in court accused of killing a man who was attacked outside a nightclub in Cirencester.

Tim Jennings, 25, of Bibury, suffered serious head injuries in the attack on 27 June and died five days later.

Jamie Legg and Jake Hayward-Wright, both 18 and from Cirencester, appeared at Bristol Crown Court charged with manslaughter.

Mr Hayward-Wright was released on bail while Mr Legg was remanded in custody until a hearing on 16 December.

No formal pleas were entered but Mr Hayward-Wright's lawyer indicated his client would plead not guilty to the charge.

Mr Jennings fell into a coma and died on 2 July after the assault in Market Place.
