Man held in murder probe released

A 34-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Gloucestershire has been released without charge.

Paramedics were called to an address in Wye Road, Brockworth, at about 2045 GMT on Saturday where they found a 34-year-old woman with severe head injuries.

She was taken to hospital in Gloucester but died the next day.

The death is being treated as "unexplained" while police wait for the results of forensic tests.
