Police have boarded up a flat in Gloucester that had been a centre for drug dealing. The flat in Cromwell Street had been the source of complaints from residents about anti-social behaviour and noise. Magistrates at Gloucester granted a closure order, and police and contractors then moved in to seal off the city centre property. Gloucestershire Police said there was evidence of Class A drugs being used at the flat. The closure order lasts three months, during which time it is an offence to enter the premises, police said. Pc Matt Hammond said: "We have evidence of Class A drug use there, with reports of drug users lying comatose around the property, and some local residents have said they are afraid of the people visiting there."
