Club attack man dies in hospital

A man who was attacked outside a nightclub in Gloucestershire has died in hospital from his injuries.

Tim Jennings, who was 25 and from Bibury, was assaulted outside the Bar Code nightclub in Market Place, Cirencester, on Saturday 27 June.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said Mr Jennings had died overnight at Frenchay Hospital, near Bristol.

The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination was due to be carried out, police said.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
