Woman charged over cannabis haul

Police in Gloucester uncovered a cannabis factory with more than 400 plants in Quedgeley.

Nguyen Thi Phan, believed to be from Vietnam, and aged 30, was arrested and appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court. She was remanded in custody.

The plants were found during a raid at a house in Chapel Gardens and were said to have a potential street value of between £30,000 and £60,000.

Det Sgt Rob Harding said: "The rented accommodation was full of plants."
