No-one was reported injured in Friday afternoon's fire

Fire investigators are sifting through the wreckage of a large warehouse in a builders' yard in the Forest of Dean for clues as to how the blaze started.

More than 80 firefighters from three counties were called to Hale and Co in Drybrook on Friday afternoon.

Fire crews were expected to stay at the scene until lunchtime on Saturday to check the blaze is completely out.

Environmental heath officers said there was no risk to people living nearby from the smoke.

The fire was contained to a single-storey building, measuring 150m by 70m, and which contained building supplies, timber and plastic.

There were no reports of any injuries.
