Young cyclist hurt in collision

A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with head injuries after a collision with a car in Gloucestershire.

The incident occurred in Field Court Drive, Quedgeley at approximately 1800 GMT on 8 May and involved a green Peugeot 406.

The boy was treated for head injuries at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and is in a critical but stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
