Man jumps from first-floor window

A man was taken to hospital after jumping from the first floor of a terraced house in Gloucestershire after a fire broke out.

Emergency services were called to Darell Close in Quedgeley on Monday night.

A forensic examination of the property will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
