A snake, believed to be an escaped pet, has been found at a corner shop in Gloucester.
The harmless Californian King snake was discovered at the back of the store in Tredworth Road on Bank Holiday Monday.
The creature was taken to the city's police station before being transferred to the care of experts in Bristol.
Police are seeking the owner of the snake, which is described as two foot long and coloured black with yellow and white freckles.
