Two accused of running a brothel

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with managing a brothel after police raided a property in Cheltenham.

The pair was arrested on Saturday at the address in St George's Street.

Police took action after complaints from residents about alleged activities at the property.

A man, aged 44, from Devon and a woman, 38, from Cheltenham were both charged with managing or assisting in the management of a brothel.

The charges relates to the period between 26 February and 14 August 2008.

They are due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on 26 August.
