The accident happened while children were playing in the area

Tom Haile, from Hardwicke drowned after being swept away while playing on mud flats between Newnham and Arlingham in Gloucestershire on 27 July.

Andrew Lord, Tom's uncle, said signs warning of the dangers of playing in the area, may prevent further accidents and loss of life.
