Vehicle business gutted by fire

A vehicle sale and repair shop in Cheltenham has been damaged by fire.

Firefighters were called to Stow Valley Vehicles (SVV), The Runnings, in the early hours of Monday after reports of the blaze.

A police spokesman said the cause of the fire was unexplained and it was appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at 0115 BST.

Five fire crews and the police helicopter took more than two hours to bring the blaze under control.

The cause of the fire is being investigated and police and fire investigators are expected to remain at the site for much of Monday.
