Flood-hit youth centre reopened

A youth club in Tewkesbury has been repaired after last year's floods at a cost of £35,000.

The youth centre, in Link Road in the Gloucestershire town, has now reopened after extensive repair work.

Author Sue Mayfield joined members of the local community and Tewkesbury town and borough mayors to celebrate the building's re-opening.

The author has also been helping Tewkesbury schoolchildren express their view about the floods.
