Biker's 189mph stunt is condemned
Road safety campaigners have condemned a motorcyclist who filmed himself speeding at 189mph in the Cotswolds.

The motorcyclist put the film on to an internet website.

The biker, whose identity is unknown, made the video which included shots of the speedometer, on the A417 near Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

He had placed a camera on the front of the motorbike. Gary Handley of the Gloucs Road Safety Group, condemned the actions as 'absolute madness'.

"It is an extraordinary thing to do," Mr Handley told BBC News.

The three-minute film clip appeared for a while on You Tube, but has since been removed.
