Flood watches issued for rivers
Tewkesbury during the floods
Tewkesbury was one of the worst hit areas during the summer floods
Homes and businesses in Gloucestershire are preparing for the possibility of flooding after heavy overnight rain.

Flood watches have been issued for the River Severn between Tewkesbury and Gloucester and the River Thames from Cirencester to St Johns Lock, Lechlade.

Low lying areas of farmland and some roads at Sandhurst and Maisemore are under water after overnight rain.

In the Cotswolds, a flood watch is place for the River Windrush from Bourton-on-the-Water to Newbridge.

The Environment Agency urged people living in the affected areas to take precautions against possible flooding.

Many families are still displaced after "unprecedented" flooding in the county during June and July.

Weather forecasters were predicting strong winds and westerly gales on Sunday.
