Farmland search for missing woman
Kate Prout
Mrs Prout was last seen at her home in Redmarley on 5 November
Police are searching fields close to the home of a Gloucestershire woman who has been missing for two weeks.

Kate Prout, 55, disappeared from her farm in Redmarley in the Forest of Dean on 5 November.

Police said the grounds were extensive and there was a possibility, in view of the current cold, that she could have come to harm there.

Mrs Prout is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, with blue eyes and red, shoulder-length hair.

She was wearing jeans and a black V-necked top when she disappeared.

A police spokeswoman said: "[Officers are] actively pursuing a number of lines of inquiry, including, as would be expected, an intensive search of the immediate vicinity of her homes as this is where she was last seen."
