Man charged over nail gun claim
A man has appeared in court charged with perverting the course of justice after he claimed he was attacked with a nail gun.

David Russell told police he had been set upon by three men and shot with a nail gun in Gloucester.

Mr Russell, 38, of Widden Street, Gloucester, is also accused of fraud in connection with a job application form.

He was bailed by magistrates to appear before Gloucester Crown Court on 3 October.
