Prince makes flood fund donation
Flooding near Tewkesbury in July
Prince Charles visited Tewkesbury, one of the worst-hit areas
The Prince of Wales has donated an undisclosed amount to the Gloucestershire Flood Relief Fund.

The appeal, launched after homes and businesses were devastated by the severe storms of 20 July, has so far raised about £644,000.

Prince Charles, who lives in Tetbury, visited some of the worst-hit areas and paid tribute to the community spirit.

Gloucester City Council leader Paul James welcomed his donation and said it would give the fund a big boost.
