A specialist hovercraft was used to find the body
The body of a man found in a submerged field in Tewkesbury last weekend has been formally identified as that of 19-year-old Mitchell Taylor.

The teenager was reported missing after the severe storms of 20 July which flooded large areas of Gloucestershire.

His body was discovered by an Italian hovercraft crew who were helping fire crews at the flooded Mythe water plant.

County deputy coroner David Dooley will open an inquest into the death at Shire Hall in Gloucester on Wednesday.

Police said they were helping the coroner in the investigation into Mr Taylor's death.
