Security guard robbed of cash box
A security guard has been robbed of his cash box outside a bank in Gloucester.

The man was walking from his van to the bank in Glenville Parade, Hucclecote, on Tuesday morning, when he was assaulted by a man.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said no weapons were used and the security guard did not need hospital treatment.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw a silver Saab estate car, index WU53 FSC, in the area prior to the robbery at 0945 BST on 12 June, to call them.

One of the offenders is described as of Asian appearance, aged 20-30, about 5ft 11 tall and of stocky build.

He is described as having stubble and at the time of the robbery he was wearing a white baseball cap and a white track-suit jacket.

The other is a black male with a shaved head. He is of medium build, shorter than his accomplice and was dressed in dark clothing. He is believed to be aged between 20 and 25.

It is not known how much money was taken.
