Plaques unveiled to city martyrs
|
The Catholic Martyrs of Gloucester and an 18th Century chapel are being commemorated with two plaques.
They are due to be unveiled at St Peter's Church in the city, which is where the chapel formerly stood.
Seven people with connections to Gloucester were executed for practising their religion during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
The Roman Catholic Bishop of Clifton and the Mayor of Gloucester will unveil the plaques on Friday.
