Couple in court over sex offences
A married couple charged with seven internet sex offences against a young girl based in the United States have appeared in Gloucester Crown Court.

Charges against Ronald Edwards, 54 and Denise, 44, of Beaconsview Road, Cinderford, include inciting a child under-13 to engage in sexual activity.

They have also been accused of incitement to distribute an indecent photograph of a child.

The couple were granted bail until 29 March in Gloucester.

The charges relate to a nine-year-old girl and are alleged to have taken place between June and September 2004.

No plea has yet been entered however they have previously denied all charges.

A provisional date for the trial has been set for 14 May.
