Pair in court for violent robbery

A man and woman have been charged with robbery after a violent incident in the Forest of Dean last weekend.

A 41-year-old local man suffered injuries to his face, arm, leg and torso after being robbed in Beachley Road, Sedbury, on Friday evening.

He was attacked by a man and a woman who then made off in his car, leaving him by the river in Mercian Way.

A 23-year-old woman and a man, 24, both from Sedbury, will appear in court on Wednesday, charged with robbery.
