New jobs are promised with the regeneration

A £1bn plan to revamp and regenerate parts of Gloucester is being unveiled.
The Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration Company wants to redevelop around 840 acres of land - a third of the city's centre.
Around 2,000 new jobs and 3,000 new homes are promised with the scheme, which could take 10 years to complete.
There are seven development areas: the railway triangle, Kings Square, Greyfriars, Blackfriars, the Docks, the Quays and the Canal Corridor.
There is also to be a new bridge planned over the Sharpness Canal.
The launch is taking place on Monday at Gloucester Cathedral.
