A flamingo chick born at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust has been named after England's new hope Theo Walcott.
Theo is one of 10 chicks to have hatched at Slimbridge
Bosses caught up in World Cup football fever decided to name the bird after Arsenal's 17-year-old striker.
The Greater Flamingo youngster already has an army of fans who he impressed by showing good balance and movement strolling around his nest.
"We thought calling him Theo would be timely," said the trust's Sarah Gill.
The chick is one of 10 to have hatched, but the first of the squad to go on display to the public.
Slimbridge in Gloucestershire is home to 500 flamingos and is the only site in Europe where visitors can see all six species of the colourful bird.
