Building work for 22 school projects in Gloucestershire has been approved by county councillors.
The biggest schemes include a £20.2m rebuild at Rednock School in Dursley, and £7.5m for Cleeve School.
Science laboratories at six schools will be refurbished and new children's centres are to be created.
Councillor Charles Gillams said: "This investment is not only in bricks and mortar but in the futures of our children and young people."
Funding is also being made available to support the council's Accessibility Strategy which aims to improve access for children and young people with special educational needs.
Traffic assessments will also be carried out on potentially dangerous school sites.
