A woman from the Tewkesbury area who was riding a tandem bike, has died in a collision with a car in north Gloucestershire on Saturday afternoon.
The other rider, a male, is being treated in hospital for injuries which police say are not life-threatening.
The accident occurred at the junction of the B4221 and the B4213 close to Corse Lawn, near Tewkesbury.
The male driver of the Mercedes car - from the London area - was unhurt. The road was closed for six hours.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either the tandem or blue Mercedes prior to the collision just before 1600 GMT, to contact them.
