A 15-year-old cyclist was forced to leap out of the way of a car which then ran over his bike, police say.
The teenager was riding on Valley Road, Cinderford, on Monday night, when the vehicle swerved across his path.
Police said the boy jumped off the bike to avoid being hit, then the car drove over it.
The boy was shaken, but otherwise unhurt. The driver is described as a white man in his 20s and was wearing a dark top and red cap.
The incident happened near the Army Cadet centre. The car was an old-style white Ford Fiesta .
