A man has been charged with robbery after allegedly snatching a woman's handbag and then running into a wall and knocking himself out.
The robbery happened in St Aldate Street in Gloucester, on Saturday morning, police said.
A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment after which he was subsequently arrested and charged.
The woman was not injured during the theft and the handbag was recovered at the scene.
