Body found in Cotswolds car park

The body of a man has been found at the car park of a Cotswolds beauty spot.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the car park at Barrow Wake, off the B4070 at Birdlip, on Friday morning to investigate reports of a body.

The area around the car park was cordoned off throughout the day to allow a forensic investigation of the scene to take place.

The coroner has been informed. A police spokeswoman said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
