Toddler dies after cot accident
Tiddlywinks' City Nursery
An ambulance was immediately sent for by staff
A 16-month-old infant has died after apparently becoming entangled in a cloth bag in her cot at a nursery.

Staff at the Tiddlywinks City Nursery in Worcester Street, Gloucester, found Molly Cunliffe on 21 October.

They tried to revive her and she was taken to Bristol's Childrens' Hospital where she died on 4 November.

An investigation into the incident, which is being carried out by the government's education watchdog Ofsted, is continuing.

Tiddlywinks is one of a group of Gloucester nurseries catering for babies to pre-school children.

It was given a satisfactory rating following a recent inspection by Ofsted.
