Forest rapist sent to Broadmoor
Jamie Limbrick
Jamie Limbrick admitted raping his 92-year-old grandmother
An 19-year-old man who admitted raping and killing his great-grandmother has been sent to Broadmoor for a psychiatric evaluation.

Jamie Limbrick was 17 when he attacked Marjorie Davies, 92, in September 2003 in a farmhouse in Forge Lane, Upleadon.

Mr Justice Owen made a 12-week interim hospital order under the Mental Health Act at Bristol Crown Court.

He will be assessed at the facility before his fate is decided at a later court hearing.

The court heard how "fantasist" Limbrick suffered from severe personality disorder.

Medics suggested he could be suffering from a psychopathic disorder.

The body of Mrs Davis was found in the farmhouse on 3 September, 2003.

The property, owned by Gillian and Malcolm Limbrick, Mrs Davis's daughter and son-in-law, had been badly damaged by fire.
