Hunt changes rules to stay legal
A hunt is holding a meeting on Thursday to change its constitution ahead of the ban which comes into force on Friday.

The Ledbury Hunt says it will replace hunting with hounds with hunting to offer entertainment for members wishing to ride, jump and watch hounds working.

It says the group will now trial ways of laying scent trails themselves.

The hunting lobby say they will now support pro-hunting candidates in the run-up to the general election.

The Ledbury hunt plans to meet on Saturday, the day after the hunting ban comes into force.
