A £140,000 outdoor adventure centre has been created specifically for young people in Gloucestershire.
The centre offers rock climbing and caving activities
Activities like expedition training, canoeing, rock climbing and caving are available from the World Heritage site.
Children from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stroud have already used the centre, ahead of its official opening on Thursday.
The new centre is on the site of the Pwll Du Outdoor Adventure Centre.
Bob Perkins, of the Wilderness Centre near Mitcheldean, in the Forest of Dean, said: "Several groups who have already used the centre have been highly impressed with the quality of the facilities."
