Police say they are not treating the death of a man found tied up in the River Severn as suspicious.
The man was found with his hands and feet bound in the water at Epney, Gloucestershire, on 10 April.
A Gloucestershire Police spokeswoman said the body had been identified as an 18-year-old man missing from Worcester.
But she said that after an extensive investigation and consultation with forensic experts his death was not being treated as suspicious.
She said: "Because of the circumstances in which the body was found, we know people willl think it is suspicious, but we are satisfied it is not.
"We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the case."
The man's body was first spotted in the river at Ashleworth just before 0200 BST on 9 April.
It disappeared and was found the following day by elver fishermen near the Anchor Inn.
The identity of the dead man is not being released until a coroner's inquest is held.
