Weakest Link presenter Anne Robinson is planning a revamp of her Cotswold home.

The 59-year-old and her husband John Penrose are seeking planning permission to extend their mansion in the hamlet of Ablington, Gloucestershire.

They want to extend the garage and add a conservatory and a TV and games room to their £3m home.

Planning officer Kevin Field said the plans were received by the council on February 27 and could be approved as early as Thursday.

"There is a proposed conservatory link between the new room and the house at ground level," he said.

"At the opposite side there is a proposal to raise the ridge of the garage to provide space for two bedrooms in the roof space above."

A swimming pool and other extensions have already been added to the luxury home.

The plans are on show at Cotswold District Council planning office in Cirencester.
