Police find £1m worth of cannabis

Cannabis plants worth more than £1m have been seized by Essex Police in one of the biggest finds of its kind in the county.

Officers discovered more than 5,000 plants under cultivation when they raided a warehouse in the Theydon Bois area on Friday.

Three large generators and associated hydroponic equipment were also seized by police.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicious of cultivating cannabis.

He is currently being questioned by officers at Harlow Police station.
