Lorry forces skip into parked car

An articulated lorry in Essex has hit a skip forcing it into a parked car causing serious damage, in what police have called an "unusual" crash.

The lorry was travelling along Colchester Road, Halstead, on Tuesday morning when the incident happened.

The blue curtained sided lorry struck the skip forcing it into a black Jeep. It caused considerable damage but did the driver of the lorry did not stop.

Pc Simon Farraday appealed for morning rush-hour witnesses.
