Driver killed in tree crash named

A man who died when a car left a road and struck trees has been named as a 25-year-old from Essex.

Scott Crick, of Sculpins Lane, in Wethersfield, died at the scene of the accident in nearby Great Bardfield, on 24 October.

His passenger, a 26-year-old man from Great Bardfield, suffered head injuries in the crash.

He remains in a critical but stable condition in Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, police said.
