Motorcyclist killed in collision

A motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a car in Suffolk.

The 37-year-old motorcyclist was riding along the the A12 near Benacre on Friday afternoon when the collision took place.

He was taken to the James Paget Hospital where he later died, Suffolk Police said.

The road was closed for four hours while emergency services attended the scene. The car driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.
