A jury has been shown CCTV footage of a woman and her partner about half an hour before the mother-of-two was killed by a train in Essex.
The jurors at Chelmsford Crown Court viewed footage of Kelly Mack, 29, and Darren Palmer having an argument as they walked in Colchester town centre.
Soon after, Miss Mack died on a crossing at Hythe railway station.
Darren Palmer, 39, is accused of dragging her across the track in March 2008. He denies manslaughter.
The jury heard Miss Mack had been drinking and was refused service at a bar in Colchester shortly before the CCTV footage was recorded.
At the beginning of the trial, prosecutors told the court Miss Mack was dragged across the railway line by Mr Palmer while the level crossing barriers were down and a train was approaching with "complete disregard of the obvious danger".
The court heard the pair had been rushing for a train, and that Mr Palmer wanted Miss Mack to join him on the Clacton-bound side of the line.
